After my complaints about NaNoWriMo, I was challenged by Alicey in the comments to take part in NaBloPoMo, or 'National Blog Posting Month'. All these Nas refer to the nation of the USA, so really I should be talking about IntBloPoMo - it's kind of like the reverse of the "World" Series. Anyway the idea of Na/IntBloPoMo is that I will be posting on my blog every day for the whole of the month of November. Regular readers will know that this won't come easily to me, precisely because it is impossible to be a regular reader of this blog, as I post so very irregularly. But anyway, the challenge is on. At least thirty blog posts this month! Reader, I am spoiling you.
Of course I haven't promised that all of my IntBloPoMo blog posts will be interesting.
Some of them will be quite dull.

I know what you mean about National Writing Months: a great idea, lovely if you can - but, you know, the world WON'T end if you don't manage it, and you're not a lesser person for not sticking to it either. (I mean 'you' generically, not you personally - sorry, rambling)
Anyway, what I mean is that your writing is never dull, and writing online is NOT the same as writing a novel, and I'm not even convinced that writing a novel in 30 days driven by the daily task of writing is that much akin to most writers experience of writing.
Basically, do your own thing: and if you post every day, well that's lovely for us and I hope you enjoy it too.
