Doctor Who: Christmas Special Preview

Here, if you missed it:

Warning to the impressionable: it features an entire minute (I timed it) of David Tennant walking around in circles with his mouth slightly open. I'd quite like to see this in soft-focus slow-motion rescored with "The Windmills Of Your Mind". Just for my own personal use. It doesn't feature a whole lot else, except enough David Morrissey as "The Doctor [2]" to convince me that he is not, after all, our new Doctor. For a start, he'd have recognised David Tennant as himself. For a second start, he didn't seem to know what a cyberman was (or a cyber head anyway.) Plus he was overacting like crazy. David Morrissey doesn't overact unless he is playing someone who is overacting.

And anyway, I want Philip Glenister to be the new Doctor.

Oh me too, me too (Philip Glenister that is...) Unfortunately I did hear our Philip categorically saying to Michael Ball it wouldn't be him, but maybe they haven't asked him yet? (This was hilariously the programme when Michael Ball also read out a letter from Helvetica Bold not realising it was a typeface).

I don't think Dr 2 is real either, mainly because RTD has been banging on about him being the next doctor for weeks and we all know how much he likes to tell the truth...

*sigh*
Now if only my trip to the UK was long enough to actually see this air...I would be one happy girl.
Thanks for sharing : )

Intriguing...too bad we won't see this in the US until July.
