Bargains galore

Flicking through the Amazon sale site, I found it astonishing the merchandise that they thought it necessary to reduce in price. It is impossible to believe that this marketing gimic didn't help Dirty Dancing fly right off the shelf. And as for this film, with a title and synopsis like that, how could it have failed to reach an audience? Mind you, they are only reducing the price by 2p, so maybe it doesn't quite have that must-have-bargain status of a really good sales find.

I'm so relieved you stumbled across these while looking through the sales section. For a minute, I was terrified that they'd turned up on your "Recommended for You" list...

Here is an imdb review of Penetration Angst: 'Helen (Fiona Horsey) seems to have a problem with sex. Or, at least the men that have sex with Helen seem to have a problem but only for a short time, since whenever she has sex the man is sucked up inside her. In other words, her private parts are a bit like "Audrey" from "Little Shop of Horrors", and they even say "feed me". Now, Dennis (Paul Conway) is a seemingly mild-mannered young man who loves Helen but can't get close to her because she has other ideas of who she wants. Helen lives with her mother & her crippled father but she picks up and leaves home for London, where she becomes a prostitute to feed her, uh, habit. Eventually, Dennis goes to London too, originally for an book fair or something, but while there he becomes involved with Siamese twins and after a roll in the hay with the wrong one, he becomes rather distraught & tries to separate them with an electric knife, with dire results. Dennis then goes into "hiding" with a fake mustache & shades. Eventually he hooks up with a stripper & they pull a bank heist, etc, and he and his accomplice run into Helen & her new hubby whom she's afraid to have sex with for fear of consuming him, etc. Helen met up with her new hubby when she was taken to a garage for a little unwilling S&M with a customer, who of course met the same fate as all of Helen's other customers, leaving no one to untie her, etc. This is a busy little film, and very weird. I thought at first it was a straight horror film & then I realized it wasn't, but it's got some pretty interesting ideas and some very dry and strange humor to it. I found it weird enough to be appealing, and Helen (Fiona Horsey) is quite beautiful, and Dennis (Paul Conway) has a air about him of a British Anthony Perkins. If you enjoy strange films then this is worth checking out.'

Devastatingly, I can't get the trailer to work.

So... kind of like a vashta vagina?

Do you think you could test it with a chicken drumstick in the same way?

Gives a whole new meaning to the term "bottom feeder", doesn't it? ("Hey, who turned out the lights?")

The scratch and sniff reviewer did say "GRATE PREZZIE FOR ENY AGE OR PERSON" though - well, that's a good enough recommendation for me.

I wondered for a second there if Penetration Angst might be a sequel to this...
