I don't know why anyone still bothers to get married in Neighbours. You're only going to end up dead (Dee) or jilted (Annalise) or have your husband realise that he loves you too much to subject you to the horror of beng wed to him and therefore annul the wedding, precipitating your departure from the series (Lynn).Today, Frazer (professional gambler, lately in wheelchair due to least convincing psychological illness since Lucy's hysterical blindness, now walking again having found superhuman strength in limbs whilst rescuing Ned's long-lost son Mickey from death by electrocution in the pool) and Rosie (lawyer, virgin) got hitched, meaning that doom MUST ensue. And ensue it did: Mickey (Ned's long lost son, lately almost dead in electrified swimming pool) managed to accidentally reverse a giant lorry into the middle of Ramsey Street, incredibly slowly and yet fast enough to crush a minibus carrying all of our best-loved characters. In a cul de sac. Fancy that.
Who will live? Who will die? I can't say for sure. I would just mention, though, that it's probably not the best move to launch a who will live, who will die storyline just after investing a whole lot of money shooting a new title sequence showing which characters are going to be series regulars for the next several months. Just a thought.

Frazer, Nicki, Dee??? Who are these people? I think I lost the plot with Neighbours the last time Karl and Susan got remarried. I used to watch it obsessively when the children were small, but now 6pm is for watching Basil Brush while I make tea.
You made me laugh out loud with your final comment.
Did you notice who was missing from the credits? Cos I didn't... Not sure about these new people but then I wasn't sure about Pepper et al when they first came so I guess I'd better give em a chance.
They flash past incredibly fast, don't they?
I like the look of the new teenage girl Bridget, she seems to be able to act for a start, which is a nice change. She's very Sky-like, so I can only assume Sky is leaving.
I too love the Pepper crew and I think Neighbours is in a bit of a golden age, which is ironic, because the ratings have gone through the floor. Does anybody know what happened to Will, though? He came and went so fast that I can only assume there was some kind of scandal involved.
ok...well I was having to look away...all far too traumatic for a Tuesday lunchtime (but I am relieved that somebody else in the world was actually watching it - I wonder sometimes...!)
Will was GORGEOUS, so I am annoyed I dont know how I missed his demise, however, I could have sworn he was Oliver's brother (does that help or did you know that)? The credits/who survived thing has actually confused me - usually when they do it it gives you the heads up for the next day but I could have sworn I couldnt see Carmella etc and they survived. ANyway.........better get a life......
"professional gambler, lately in wheelchair due to least convincing psychological illness since Lucy's hysterical blindness, now walking again having found superhuman strength in limbs whilst rescuing Ned's long-lost son Mickey from death by electrocution in the pool"... Marie, have you been there from the beginning? Is there an addiction element to this predilection of yours?
Forget Will - what the hell happened to Connor? *Did* the crazy Robinson twin kill him and plant that Irish rose that they mentioned for a while? Why does no-one care what happened to him?!
You ask and the internet provides...
Apparently the actor who played Will got offered a film deal and so left in a hurry, and they just brought in Oliver to replace him and gave Oliver all of Will's storylines.
As for Connor, there was a blink-and-you'll-miss-it resolution where he sent everybody presents for St Patrick's Day proving that he was still alive and living in China.
Tell you what, though, researching both of those I had ample reminder of the mystery of Carmella and her million personalities. Surely the least consistent member of the Neighbours cast ever? Barmaid, stalker, magazine editor, baby thief, nun, drug addict, fruit and veg supremo, cradle-snatcher...
Man I googled (sorry, Googled) it and didn't get anything! So he's alive. Well, that's good to know.
:)
