Tess Daly looked stunning. Really lovely, flattering dress. Either a case of stopped clock telling the right time twice a day, or the BBC reading my blog really quickly and totally revolutionising their wardrobe policy. I know which I believe. Claudia Winkelman, on the other hand, was dressed as a Victorian baby. Major kudos, BBC, for having two women hosting a prime time show, even if it is only the little sister of Strictly Proper. I'd have liked to see them interact more. Claudia on her own does just fine, but Tess is a straight woman in dire need of a funny partner. Claudia is funny in spades. Let them present together, BBC, oh please. Presenting-wise, the best part of the entire show was the last few seconds when Tess refused to "keeeep dancing" with Claudia.
Other thoughts: spreading the results over the show decreases, rather than increases, tension. The show dancers are pointless, looking lost on the stage and no real fun to watch because nobody knows the personalities behind the dancing. Big error of judgement from the producers. Robbie Williams performs in exactly the same way as I would if I were a pop star, ie not caring much for the usual order of the words, and dancing like a loon. He also looks increasingly like Paul Robinson in Neighbours. Evidence:

And Goldie going was no surprise for those of us expert in the behaviour of Strictly voting audiences.
That's all. This blog, like the results show itself, is both too long and too short, and rather pointless. I think I'll stick to reviewing the main show from now on.

I see what you're saying, but if you don't blog the results show, how will I know who has been kicked off?
To clarify: I will continue to blog the result.
It's good that someone else got there with an objection to no more results - further to my comment to the previous post, how can I continue to pretend to be a fully functioning adult in society without this SCD cribsheet?
I actually mean this.
(You may suggest I watch the show. I have nothing against SCD in principle - unlike, say, X-Factor and its make-the-damaged-children-sing format - but I'm just not interested in dancing, or getting sucked into the knock-out aspect and overloading my already creaking PVR. I appreciate this makes me a freak.)
I have been introduced to the Digital Spy forum for Strictly. It's a scary place, with lots of deranged people who like to argue with each other, but there is a mole who reveals the result at about 10.30 on a Saturday evening.
So now I don't have to watch the awful results show; nor do I have to guess wrong about who might be leaving. Result.
Oh, and of course I shall continue to read your very entertaining blog!
PS - off topic, but wasn't DT wonderful in Single Father?
I had to get up and do something else 10 minutes into the results show because I was truly losing the will to live. I could feel it, ebbing out of me. Like you, Marie, Mr. Cupcake was not favourably impressed with the Victorian Baby look.
