For us in cricket, the equivalent term is 'wristy' which is applied to all batsmen of subcontinental origin, whether they be South Africa's Hashim Amla, the West Indies' Shiv Chanderpaul, England's Ravi Bopara or literally anyone playing for literally anywhere on the literal subcontinent.
