And yet. These threads have uses. For example: even though I have set it as my default browser, my e-mail still opens up Safari when I click a link in a message. Thoughts?
That's because Safari is set as the default browser.
If you want FF3 instead, got to Firefox->Preferences->General->Always Check to see if FF is the default browser on startup->Tick the checkbox
I'm doing this from a Vista machine, so the wording may be slightly off as I can't quite remember the Mac Prefs dialogue
Bro
PS. Having said all that - I can't remember whether you need to set something in Apple Mail as well to force it to use something other than Safari. If the above does not work, let me know and I'll take a look tonight.
Have already done that. It's Thunderbird which is defaulting to Safari, and I've had a good explore of that and can't find anywhere which gives you the option to change the default. Over to you, Bro :-)

OK, first off:
- Open Safari
- Safar->Prefs->General
- Ensure that FF is the default web browser in Safari's eyes
If that does not work, you're going to have to do a bit of file hacking, so email me and I'll let you know what to do.
Bro
It works! Thanks bro!
