Employee gets laid off due to extreme body odor: ‘I genuinely felt bad for
him. He had only just started the job and hadn’t really had the chance to
show what he could contribute. You could tell he felt embarrassed and
ashamed’

So what are you twittering about? I find it baffling the way people record what they are doing on Facebook, so I don't get Twitter at all. Perhaps I am just really really old...
Jane: to your right...
I prefer following than tweeting so far. The Guardian feeds are a great way of keeping track of the news. Ask me again in a few days / weeks and I'll know what I really think...
Consider yourself followed...
Nope. Still not sure I get it...
I think I need to work on my tweets to render myself more entertaining, but I'm sure I'll get there.
I think I probably need to try it... oh dear, another timewasting temptation beckons. As if I didn't have enough...
So ok, now I'm twittering too. Have no idea why anyone would want to know what I'm doing at any given moment, as am not remotely interested in what other people are doing. But as am firm believer in not dissing something till you've tried it...
Given in to something on theinternet that'll eat inordinate amounts of your time? Hmmm, have you seen this yet:

I'm going to be double-Twittering soon: once as myself, and once as the magazine.
I plan to hold out till at least next year when all will discover that it's been hijacked by google/FB or some other multinational who will cross examine your trail of information and may deem you totally unsuitable for whatever it is one is applying for in life. That's why i'm not me in blogland or FBland for example
But consider this.. Jennifer Aniston dumped the so called boyfriend because he twittered to others instead of calling her. Now, what if upon wanting to date someone new, I read on his twitter feed all sort of stuff that I find is a dealbreaker (he keeps pet snakes for example). Finding all that stuff out AFTER one starts dating is one thing, by then the delusions of love may well have taken hold already.. but before I even go out with him much? it would be doomed. And viceversa if I posted a twitter about saying that 'no, i won't do THAT'.
So that's one reason not to do it. Plus it's too self edited and sub-edited and the celebs get it written by their PRs.
Plus it's only however few characters long and since even one my comments is this crazy long... I could never fit anything in there...
tschuss!
