And in windows across London! (Or Waterloo at least.) It's not officially out til June, so if you want a sneak advance copy hurry on down to Crockatt & Powell now. Of course, Vintage could probably get them shut down for breaking the embargo, but I will passionately argue their case on account of their being my old place of employment and therefore a Good Thing. And in the latest Mike Leigh movie too, trivia fans.
Would you believe I haven't even seen it yet? The book I mean - not the Mike Leigh movie (though I've not seen that either). My complimentary author copies got lost in the post while I was on holiday, which I am a bit upset about. I'm going to C&P on Monday just so I can hold one in my hot little hands. Will probably sign a few while I'm there if anyone is interested...

How super!
Oh hurrah! Hurrah! Congrats Marie. Hope you open a big bottle of bubbly to celebrate
Wahey. Well done. I cant wait to get myself another copy, as while i was dog sitting the other day, it decided it would be more fun to rip the book up than play with its toys. Im hoping that it just didnt know what it was doing and it wasnt a planned out attack.
Oooh a signed copy!!
How exciting for your fans & for you to have your book out in paperback! Congrats!
I just read Gods a few weeks ago & I will admit to not liking it that much at first...you almost lost me with Apollo boffing Aphrodite right off the bat...but I stuck with it & am SO glad I did!! It's now one of my favorite books & hope there is more bad behaviour in the future!!
Congrats & thanks for a fun & interesting read!
Strangely enough, I just picked up a copy from a charity shop - brand new condition and everything, very strange.
I guess it's a review copy or something.
But I also intend to buy copies for friends at full price, so I like to think that it's a win-win situation for you and the charity alike!
Anyway, it looks fab, and I like the inclusion of the pictures of the gods on the inside pages, that's a nice touch.
