NOW WITH ANSWERS FROM ME IN CAPITALS!
Persephone requested the answers to the iPod game but there were so few attempts last time I put it up that I can't believe that that's all you could get collectively (Scott, where are you?) so I am leaving these up for a little longer in case you want to have a try. I've been in hospital this week, having a cyst removed and am feeling pretty tired and sore and grumpy so it's my excuse for not posting for a day or two (though invariably after saying that I'll think of something I just have to write about) - anyway, if you recognise any of these opening lines say what it is in the comments and I'll say who got what right next to each one until I'm bored of waiting.

Get well soon. I had a similar operation a couple of years ago and was under the impression that the trauma would result in weight loss. It didn't; everyone bought me sympathy chocolate.
18. You make loving fun. Fleetwood Mac
I kinda guessed #16 last time; I think it's called "You Brought a New Kind of Love to Me" -- as I said, it figures heavily in the 1931 Marx Brothers flick Monkey Business (my personal favourite) in which all four brothers attempt to get off a ship using Maurice Chevalier's passport. (Harpo uses a cleverly-concealed gramophone in his inpersonation of MC.) Maybe your version isn't by Maurice Chevalier?
I was sitting it out in protest at the inclusion of Fleetwood Mac.
You can go off someone you know.
Is number 6 "Hot stuff"?
God I feel so stupid. I only recognised the Fleetwood Mac and Madonna tracks. Am sure when all is revealed I will say oh yes of course...
Hope recovery going well
Sorry, but isn't this game unbelievably easy? I've never heard of any of these lyrics* (that's what happens when you live in Iran and holiday in Kabul) but I have heard of Google...
But I guess that's not the point?
Get Well Soon. xxx
*unless some of them were included on those brilliant Xmas CDs you made us of course. I'm just not good with lyrics.
Hhmm, sincere apologies if the copyright police come after you now.
