Putting on some make-up before a lunchtime meeting today, I noticed something curious. My eyelashes have got longer. They have got longer since I last put on mascara, which was a week ago (I am not a big make-up person). I have, like many people, had eyelashes my whole life, and they have always been pretty much the same length, which is: not long. Now, today, for the first time, they are long. In fact, one of the lashes on my left eye is very long, longer than all the others, as if he is chief eyelash and the spokeseyelash for the group. If he is, though, he ain't saying much. Particularly, he is saying nothing about why it is that my eyelashes would wait thirty-two years and then, suddenly, grow. Could it be a side-effect of the antibiotics? Leaflet in packet reveals nothing. Or perhaps over-consumption of cheese has been stunting their growth all this time? I am going to be thinking about this all afternoon. Possibly I need more work to do.

Well when you get in good with the spokeseyelash, be sure to share his secret! Those of us with stubby spokeseyelashes don't want to wait 30+ to get them growing! lol!! : )
Interestingly my eye doctor told me that the pharmaceutical companies making Xalatan latanoprost (eyedrops used to treat glaucoma) discovered that this medication also makes the eyelashes grow longer and that cosmetics companies were going to incorporate this drug into their mascara. So perhaps you have a little Xalatan in your Maybelline!
That is just STRANGE!!!
Bit off subject Marie (you know I have the longest eyelashes known to man - shame they are usually crusted with dead skin and other eye shite) but have you been watching University challange?
Corpus Christi Oxford - Trimble...
No......?
Lol, I just stumbled upon your blog and I am already laughing!
