Quantum of Solace

I may only know what 1 + 3/4 + 1/4 of those words mean (very confident on "of") but it's an excellent excuse to put up a picture of Daniel Craig in his (very) smalls.

I had to read a book called The Natufian in the Levant once, perhaps they should name the next Bond film after that?

That's got to be the worst film title since Attack of the Clones

Please warn me when you're going to put pictures like that up again... I almost injured myself, mmmMMmmm Daniel Craig.

You can never have too many excuses to put up pictures of Daniel Craig. Or David Tennant, or Richard Armitage....

dear god, am I turning into a menopausal old lech????

PS I'm not a fan of THOSE particular smalls - too blue, too light, not MANLY enough for Daniel. He looks better in a suit.

You may be right about the manliness of the smalls. My nephew has the same, and he's three.

Thank you for the picture - you've just made my Friday afternoon.

But please don't spoil it for me by questioning the manliness of the smalls!

I rather like the title - nice that they're sticking to the original source material, even if only tangentially.

However, will they come under pressure to change it for the international market, as they allegedly did with 'Licence To Kill' (original title supposedly being 'Licence Revoked', but they feared people wouldn't know what 'revoked' meant)?

And, even speaking (well, typing) as a purely heterosexual chap, I'll cheerfully concede that Daniel C's a rather good looking fellow, isn't he?

I'll ask him what it means next time I see him.

We all know this already but for everyone else: it's a revenge movie (he's chasing after the guys that killed Vesper in Casino Royale); a quantum is the smallest amount of something measurable (in physics anyway). Quantum of Solace basically means that revenge will only give you the smallest amount of comfort possible. That, I suspect. will the life-lesson for Mr Bond to learn by the end.

It's not a great title though. Not as bad as Attack of the Clones though.

Who cares what the title is, so long as Daniel Craig's in it! Hehe.

Also, if it does indeed mean that "revenge will only give you the smallest amount of comfort possible" I dare say it's got a great storyline too :-)

I was close, but not quite. It's a relationship thing.

Haven't seen the film yet but lots of people say is more Jason Bourne than James Bond
