For the love of Brosnan

Lalala I haven't watched it I HAVEN'T WATCHED IT.

Well what the hell else have I been watching then?

Pierce Brosnan movies. Obviously. And I have been writing about my admiration / love / obsession / pathological disorder about Pierce Brosnan over on the Beat Website. Which has lots of other fantastic and slightly more serious articles for you to read. Once you have finished reading mine, naturally.

What's that you say? A sample, so that you can decide whether to click or not? Very well...

Pierce Brosnan is everything a movie star should be: handsome, debonair, with perfect teeth and a full head of hair, able to keep his head when all around him are losing theirs and blaming it on the script / director / co-star / catering, this is a man who even managed to retain his dignity, not to mention his sex appeal, while dressed as a lobster on The Muppet Show.

Ah, go on, go on, go on, go on, go on.

Oh god that was hilarious, Marie. I am a Pierce fan too, & I adore Mamma Mia for it's sheer silliness and fun, and part of that is his abysmal singing. I also loved him in every Bond movie. Had no idea he was in the Long Good Friday, wow. Must watch it again. Half those films I haven't seen, but agree totally on The Thomas Crown Affair. Love it!

And la la Ms Phillips, what are you waiting for?? I want to know what you think! (I definitely want to be River Song when I grow up)

wow. i love this post. and i love you. lol.. thank god it's not just me who is head over heels in love with pierce. he's just the man any woman would want to go home to... he's just perfect. i havent seen all his films but i adore him in all his bond films and my favorite thomas crown affair. darn, that love scene w/ rene was to die for. :)

but my all time fave is Mamma Mia. I dont think he sounded that bad. It was fun. And heck, I love him and Meryl Streep. That fountain kiss at the end was pure hotness. :)

Thanks Kryzzle! He is fab with Meryl, but my fave pairing with her is Alec Baldwin in It's Complicated. Oh and Robert Redford in Out of Africa, but that's going back a LONG way...

And I love that he is also a sincere and determined environmentalist.

He was too thin for James Bond. Do you remember the scene when Miss Onatopp almost crushed the life out of him? She couldn't have done that to Danny Craig.

really? i do love meryl with alec. they were cute. :) robert redford in out of africa was really good too. but aside from pierce and meryl, i think my next fave pairing would be meryl and clint eastwood in bridges of madison county. :)

@gorillabananas
i think he was just lean in that movie. but i wouldnt say that pierce was thin. :)
